Forget Me Not Posey Necklace - Handpainted Silver

Heralding the beginning of Spring, Chatham Island Forget-Me-Not flowers produce abundant baby blue flowers, bringing cheer after Winter.  Far from forgettable, these majestic plants are endemic to the Chatham Islands, and can be found putting on a show in gardens all around New Zealand.  

Four sterling silver flowers handpainted with baby blue porcelain paint, and arranged in a circle (18cm diameter) on a sterling silver posey knot.  Suspended from a 45cm fine sterling silver necklace, with a 5cm extender.

Nicki Cliff is the creative force behind Lily Griffin Jewellery. Lily Griffin jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Nicki in her tiny studio at home in Auckland. Her gorgeous range is named after her energetic and expressive children, Lily and Griffin. Incredibly Nicki is a self taught jeweller. She models designs in fine silver and then casts them in sterling silver, adding touches of colour to some pieces with porcelain paint.
